Aviation

Capturing the magic

Christian Müller further intensified his strong affinity to the aviation world when he earned his private pilot’s licence. He was particularly taken by the Pilatus PC-6, the legendary “Porter”, which is used in a vast range of roles all over the globe. In 1996 he produced a book about this Swiss-built aircraft featuring ten lavishly-illustrated accounts of its use on all the world’s continents. It was followed in 1999 by a further book on the PC-12, another product of the Pilatus company’s Stans works that has been deployed in innumerable capacities: by the Flying Doctors of the Australian Outback, by the Red Cross in South Africa, by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and more.
